Oklahoma Parent Legislative Advocacy Coalition (OKPLAC) is a nonpartisan statewide organization of passionate volunteers committed to promoting policies that strengthen, support and protect the Oklahoma public school system. OKPLAC serves as an umbrella organization of local PLAC chapters and affiliated Oklahoma grassroots organizations with common values.”

ADVOCATE
The Oklahoma public school system was established in the state constitution to serve every Oklahoma child. We advocate for legislation to keep our public schools thriving.
INNOVATE
Education is more than what's in a textbook. We support arts, athletics, civics, vocational education, and other programs that guide our kids to their unique and full potential.
PARTICIPATE
Voting is key to parent advocacy. We promote voting in every election, and believe voting should be accessible for every Oklahoman.
SUPPORT
Kids learn best in the classroom with their teachers and peers. We support policies that keep schools safe and open for classroom learning.
PARTNER
The Parent-Teacher partnership is crucial for student success. We support attracting and retaining world class professional educators by standing up for fair pay, encouraging and rewarding innovation, and reducing red tape.
CARE
Kids need a firm foundation in order to learn. We advocate for policies and programs that support the health and well-being of students beyond the classroom.
